The Road in a Sundown Town

Street signs, road signs, traffic lights, building signs, stops, and cautions are all taken figuratively or even literally, especially through word and name associations.
Hills, bridges, and curves are all used as choke points to converge, meet in the middle, and toe the line, especially in the rain, snow, or blinding sun.
Interstates, highways, and routes are all used for drug trafficking and human and sexual trafficking so that the sick and twisted can stalk their prey.
Colored cars weave, block, cross, stop suddenly, use fake turn signals, and beep their horns. Semis drive close to the line, especially during the rain, causing mist that can make it difficult to see.
Semis travel through border towns, communicating with one another as they continue their long journeys, often driving at odd hours of the night.
Colored clothing and sports caps are displayed on dashboards, allegedly using gang tactics to communicate with one another.
Cars establish convoys to deliberately slow traffic on one- or two-lane roads, doubling or tripling up to make passing safely more difficult.
Vehicles slow down on curves or in passing zones, especially when a car is approaching from the opposite direction.
Numbers, mailboxes, house numbers, and people sitting in driveways with their car lights on are used to signal that they are watching and reporting your whereabouts.
Setups at traffic lights, parked vehicles positioned far from the curb, people jumping out of vehicles and opening trunks directly in front of you, individuals running into the roadway, people walking along the side of the road, old men everywhere, and parked vehicles with blinkers on in front of specific businesses are all used for word and name association.
Police vehicles sit in parking lots or on the side of the road with their lights flashing as you drive by.
Women drivers cut you off, cars swerve into your lane, toe the line, hit you with a double, chase you in the rain, and Mack trucks are everywhere.
Lynching and chasing are done for pure enjoyment. It’s all for fun, laughter, and giggles!
